ICN v0.6.0 is released as a part of ICN R6 release.
We're pleased to announce the delivery of Akraino ICN R6 release. All the components are decoupled and can be run standalone. They are integrated into the ICN installation script.
The main themes of this release are:
Cluster API: The Binary Provisioning Agent (BPA) and Kubernetes Deploment (KuD) components have been replaced by Cluster API.
Flux: Declarative day-0 configuration of K8s clusters is provided via Flux version 2. Day-2 configuration is provided with Flux's GitOps workflows.
Redfish virtual media: It is now possible and preferred to provision bare metal with Redfish virtual media. This allows DHCP-less provisioning and provides a more secure alternative to IPMI based provisioning.
