ROBO sites are resource constrains, distributed and vulnerable for data loss in case of disaster.
One of the main drawback on edge sites is limited space and power constraints, Inorder to overcome that them EdgeGallery Based EALT-EDGE BP is providing k8s cluster and telco edge (ETSI MEC compliant) with lightweight k3s cluster on remote edge sites, central managment of several autonomous edge sites with backup and restore capability using velero opensource which provides backups of your cluster and restores data incase of loss. added in release 4.
EALT-EDGE BP also provides disaster recovery mechanism on your existing telco edge using velero. Telco edge with k8s cluster with backup and restore capability will make sure the system is stable in any disaster circumstances.for applications in case of disaster or scheduled Backup.
